winter color

Penstemon pseudospectabilis and Eriogonum umbellatum are showing their winter colors. Interestingly, the Eriogonum umbellatum 'Proliferum' that I purchased this year stayed green.

The opuntia are starting to show some color, but will develop much more color as the winter progresses.

Datura ferox (Oak-leaved thorn apple) showing its winter form. The graceful lavender trumpets have evolved into strikingly thorny fruits.
