Don't laugh, but I've just got the first flowers on my tomato plant. Considering that I planted seeds in May or June, it's what I have to expect. My plant is probably not even a foot tall. Maybe one year I'll put forth the effort to get started early and maybe I'll get some fruit.
Looks around, nobody is laughing :)
