rosemary cuttings

Rosemary is one of the most satisfying plants to propagate by cuttings. They are so easy. All you do it take 3 inch tip cuttings from actively growing plants, pinch off the bottom leaves, dip in rooting hormone, slip into well draining potting soil or perlite. Label them, water lightly, stick into a plastic bag, twist tie the bag closed, and place in a sunny windowsill. 3 weeks later, voila! roots. I get almost 100% rooting. It doesn't matter what season as long as the tips are still green and actively growing. So satisfying since the plants are drought tolerant, edible, and beautiful.
