Driving off to work, I noticed this nice layering effect that one of my plantings had made. From back to front: Rosemary, Yucca thompsoniana, Penstemon clutei, Agave (parryi? - a division from a friend's wild-crafted collection from 20 years ago), Salvia chamaedryoides.
