The
Cistus x aguilarii is going gangbusters right now. Although the flowers only last a day, the petals falling dramatically in the late afternoon, like a daylily it still makes quite a show. The flowers are not fragrant, but the leaves are wonderfully so. Too bad they get winter damaged in this climate, but I'm happy that it survives at all.
Almost as good as some ciabatta bread, olive oil, and sharing it with friends under a live oak or olive. I better stop, I am eating enough!
